SPACETRC / RESEARCH LABORATORY 5.0
From code to evidence.
Inspect sourced observations in Python. Change a prepared recipe, compare the output and download your code with the data.
No data, Python runtime or sound starts on page open. These workspaces run in the browser; private account notes and reports are never transferred automatically.

Standard-library scope: math, statistics, csv, io and json. DATA_CSV contains the selected data text. Set result to a JSON-compatible summary and optional series. Code executes only when you press Run.
This educational runner is limited to allowed imports and local data. External package installation, file/network access and private Python attributes are disabled. Code stops after 20 seconds; initial runtime loading may take longer.
Can you reproduce the same result?
- Read the source, time axis and unit first. Kepler uses BJD(TDB) − 2454833 days; the Kp sample uses elapsed UTC hours.
- Change one variable in a recipe. For example, increase the moving-average window and inspect how short features disappear.
- Keep the original data, notebook and result JSON together. Plotting or smoothing is not a new discovery or physical-model fit.
