SPACETRC / RESEARCH CONTEXT
SPACETRC / MULTIWAVELENGTH UNIVERSE
The same sky.
Another kind of light.
Compare optical, infrared, radio/microwave and X-ray archives at the same coordinates. Carry your selected target, layers and method together with their sources.
01 / TARGET · LAYER · VIEW
One coordinate, four observing windows.
Opening this page makes no external image request. Starting sends the selected sky coordinates and view requests to CDS/HiPS servers; your WordPress account, notes and location are not sent.
The atlas has not started. Source cards and method information remain readable offline.
Source imagery opens here when started. This drawing is not sky data.
Coordinates: ICRS / degrees. Drag and zoom with mouse or touch; both layers move together in the same view.
Layers are overlaid in one synchronized view. Opacity is a display setting; blended colours are not a physical flux ratio or a new scientific image product. Uncovered areas may be blank. WMAP’s beam scale is0.88°, so small fields should not be expected to show fine detail.

03 / REOPENABLE VIEW
Carry the view with its method.
A shared link carries only target identity, sky centre, field of view and layer settings. It contains no account, session, private notes or access key. FITS links open the provider’s cutout service only for sources offering FITS tiles; no automatic download or instrument calibration occurs.
Method, software and terms of use
Images come from different instruments, dates, wavelengths and angular resolutions. The atlas aligns the view geometrically; it performs no PSF matching, background subtraction, calibration or quantitative multiband photometry. Use the original calibrated measurements for analysis.
