SPACETRC / MULTIWAVELENGTH OBSERVATORY
One target.
More than one observation.
Choose an object name or coordinates; compare the same region in two scientific surveys. Record and share the view with its sources, then carry it into an observing plan.
01 / TARGET AND WAVELENGTH
Two views of the same region.
No external connection starts before your action. Resolve object name sends the name to CDS; coordinate selection does not require that step.
The scientific atlas will open here.
Both atlases start at the same coordinates and field of view; moving the first drives the second. If you move the second manually, use Align to match it again. Colours, resolution and observing epochs differ by survey; displayed brightness is not directly comparable calibrated flux.

State what you compare
Record the target name, ICRS coordinates, survey identifier and field of view. Note differences in resolution and wavelength.
Continue to the source
A visible structure can start a research question. Measurement requires the original data product, instrument information, units and uncertainty.

The link or JSON carries coordinate and survey settings. It does not freeze future remote source content or share private notes.
Sources and calculation method
Catalogue coordinates are recorded at J2000. Fixed target directions are transformed for precession and nutation at the planning date. Stellar proper motion, stellar parallax, terrain, buildings, atmospheric refraction and weather are not applied. Sun/Moon positions are observer-relative calculations; this is not an observation, weather or telescope-control service.
